- my eye is fine and i was able to get my contact in yesterday. so all is well.
i take my own photos. i would love to give some guidance whereever i can help, but i take my photos pretty much like i make my hats.... i know what i like to see thru the lens and i take the pic. My husband is a photographer as you know, and he is much more fastidious than i am:) I use a white posterboard for the bottom and a white tri-board for the backdrop (which i can hang different cloths on dependent on what color i need or want). i use natural light (my studio is all glass on three sides) and i am very proficient at photoshop (my husband is also a graphic artist so i am able to get all the programs he uses via hand-me-down) i use a canon powershot SD600 and it has a wonderful macro on it. i also ALWAYS use a tripod. my settings are usually on 'night' with macro and no flash.... and that's it. oh.. i know how to use levels in photoshop and i am very particular about the color on my monitor. my monitor is calibrated, so for me i can see the colors as they truly are... i also try to use different background filters so that others, who do not have calibrated monitors, will hopefully get the 'feel' and the colours as i am trying to show them. does that make sense?
i have to work for the next 3 days but i will definitely check out sarah's site....
i don't know how you keep it all together. i am so unsocial and you seem to be able keep all things together all over the place. i am very glad to know you :)

Do you take your own photos or do you have a professional photographer do them? They are stunning. Could you give some guidance on the photo topic in the forum? I think everyone would benefit from your experience. If you don't take them yourself, it would be interesting to know cost and who gets the copyright on them.
I'm going to send my cancer friend over to you. Her name is Sarah (extremely talented artist) and hopefully she will buy something from you. You might be interested in trading, too. A typical dropped waist of the Roaring Twenties is created by a yoke over the hips. The tiers of circular flounces form a lovely vision while dancing. The scarf and the tie sash patterns are included. This pattern is quick and easy to make.
This pattern is multi-sized 8 through 20. All the sizes are in one package. Look at our National Standard size chart for your size. Sizes 8-12 require 5 3/8 Yds. of 45 inch wide fabric; sizes 14-20 require 5 5/8 Yds. of 45 inch wide fabric.
