RACHEL'S CHALLENGE

I am responding to Rachel's challenge today from Fiber Focus website by posting a photo that caught my attention. This photo definitely caught my attention due to the uniqueness of it. I love a vintage sepia look and this has that look as well. I have collected bark through the year… Continue

Hi Linda, Thank you for looking at my photos and commenting on them. Sorry it has taken me awhile to reply. The Spirit Garden piece is 5 inches x 5 inches and is attached to an Art Quilt which is 7 inches x 7 inches, so its only small. I live in Northern NSW. I love your pieces. I'm going to go and check your blog out now. See you. Barb

Hi Linda! So lovely to hear fr. you! Many thanks for your delightful comments re: "Jus' 'cos I looooooooove batiks!"!! Made my day! Do you know, I had suuuuuuch fun making that little quilt - the "No rulers, no rotary cutters, blah, blah, NO RULES" part of it all - that I've upped and started...ANOTHER "NO RULES" quilt!! Good grief!! Who'd a thunk I'd become a...Rebel in my old age!! Will you try a "NO RULES" quilt, too?! Hugs, Charlotte

Thank you, Linda. Yes, I am always working on another one, sometimes two at a time! If I can get my camera to dowload properly, I have a new finished one to show. I am even working on another one that is half finished. I'm hopelessly addicted! Thanks for the compliment. Diana

Hi Linda, thanks again for your wonderful compliments. You may have met Tammie Bowser. I have traveled with Tammie to Puyallup, Washington and other locations to sell her books and CD''s. She would do the seminars to teach her method while I was in the booth. She is the person that taught me how to create Mosaic Photography.

The method that I am doing now is not, yet published. I do teach how to create Mosaic Photography, here in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I needed Rayela's advice on where to post the details of the Art Quilt show and she suggested my blog. It will be up soon. Most of today, I have been catching up on emails. Oh, by the way, no the quilted photography is not hard to do. It is a weekend project. That method is easier and less time consuming than the Fiber Mosaics that I create. Thanks for your interests, Diana
