Diana, I had not seen this before! I have heard of people using dryer sheets as a foundation for foundation piecing. I hate throwing away the dryer sheets; now I have a good way to reuse/recycle!

Hi Suzan! Thanks for the welcome! I love how active this Ning seems to be, and the kaleidoscope prints in your Blue Circles quilt really drew me in. I just finished adding your blog to my 'follow' list. Amy (FIberCycle)

Hi Suzan! Thanks for the tag! It is always great to meet someone from the same state! I tagged your blog to follow, so it's tagged on my blog! If you are going to be at the quilt show in Houston, let's make plans to meet up! I'll be there everyday for class. Right now I'm busy working on two sunflower quilts. Same sunflower - one is in batiks, one is in my hand painted fabric. Can't wait to see the results and how different the two fabric media's work...

I have been quilting for 20 years or so. I started out making traditional quilts and then ventured into miniature quilts and then into art/landscape quilts. The quilt of my parents' house took me about 2 months to make. I always struggle with fabric choices so it takes me longer than it should take. Thanks for your comments about my quilts. Chris

Welcome, Suzan! So glad you joined! Caryl is a member here, too, so you should stop by her page and give her a hello. I'm helping her get fabric and kits ready for the show here in Paducah next month.

There are some tips on how to use this site under "Notes" on the first page. Most people seem to start bonding through comments on photos (so be sure to load some soon!), but you can also get involved by joining groups or forum discussions. You can also start new ones. Each member here also has a blog which is linked to the front page, a convenient way to introduce yourself and to let us all know what is going on with you.

Jump on in and make yourself at home!
