Good to hear from you. This summer sounds like it has been a rough one for you and your family and not over yet.
I have also ha a few problems having been in a car accident (I'm OK) and having a heart attack in the mountains of Colorado. Coming home and finding out that my husband only has a few years to live or whatever God is going to give him. (he's 69). I'm still having a bit of trouble with that one but I now cherish every day.
Life isn't what we envisioned at this time in our lives is it? But I guess we will do the best we can. I'm having a hard time trying to get back into the "art" swing of things but will start teaching Sept. 14th again and maybe that will help. This summer was a rough one with the kids and my cardiologist said no more summer school with small children. That my dear is probably a good thing.
Well, I'm so glad to hear from you but not your illness news of ;your family and friends. I can definitely relate. Please keep in touch and I will send prayers and protective loving light your way.
Hugs,
Connie

Charlotte, come take a look at my studen't work from last nights last class. I had five of the most talented gals you have ever seen. I had other students but they didn't want to go further than just what was safe I think. They really didn't do too much risk taking like the fab 5.

Just looked at all your photos and loved them all. You have quite the collection. Your work is very vibrant and I love it. I have collected things in my travels and also love using found objects in my pieces. You have a good variety of art work as I also like to learn new things and try new techniques all the time. Keep those photos coming.

Hi kiddo, How's my favorite person? I'm taking a break from working on my show piece out of Lutradur. It's just at the beginning stages and I had to dream about it for a couple of months before starting. do you do that too?

I also welcomed some new people to Hot and Wet Group, and started a discussion on Lutradur. I thought, heck might as well since I working with it and can take photo's whlist I work. My family got more excited about the muslin underneath catching the cloth than my Lutradur. Oh well, just started so what can I say or do but ignore them.
Guess I will go and remove some pix crap) from my camera as it's full now. Then I had better get back to work.
Working on anything new at the present?

Connie V (CV=105) In Dog years? Just wondering?

Okay, so I need to get out all the stuff and photograph them. I'm not lazy but it will probably be months until I can get to that. I need to be snowed in for a week or so and then I would probably be still working on something else.
Right now I'm starting to feel the crunch of a pending show at Center for the Arts where there will be a Fiber show the Final Friday of March and for the month of April. They want something BIG and to be show-cased in the center of the room. I'm still working on it and I'm not getting anywhere. If I could just quit my job for awhile or get rid of my family demands. Whew!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I will probably photograph "stuff" someday. but I promise I will try to get something out here and there...now and then. Thanks for reminding me and Charlotte, don't hesitate to keep reminding me. I seem to have lost my mind lately. Or maybe I lost it ages ago and am now just noticing that it's gone.

Have a great week-end. Hope your weather is wonderful. We are having strange 70 degree weather. The lull before the storm perhaps?

Connie
