As for moderating the group, you can take as much initiative as you want. Once someone starts it (give it a name and load a photo), you can think up some discussion topics that you think would be interesting or just let the group evolve. I'm sure several of us would join it. I could start it, but I would like to see some leadership arise out of other members and I thought of you because your work seems so serence and peace oriented and you already have a respectful audience here.
I was thinking that you could write about this in different angles: talk about it technically, focus on how Obama inspires you, or look at other political quilts and discuss how quilts can make an impact on society today. Those were just some ideas that popped into my head, but, of course, I would like you to speak using your own voice in whatever way you want. If you took photos along the way when making the quilt, we could include those. It would be nice to have one of you in your workspace.

How about being the moderator for a quilt group here? Interested?
I would also like someone to start a Quilt group here. Interested? I don't want to be the one to start all the groups and there are enough quilters here to get some good discussions going. Would love it if you were the moderator!
